We brought books for all of the students at Welbourne Nursery and Preschool, and also to the Head Start program at Evans Community School (not pictured).
We provided 654 books to Rock Lake Elementary, a Title 1 school, for a take home bookshelf! The same was given to Advent Health hospital for their child patients and visitors (not pictured).
Three more cartons of books delivered to Healthy Start to take to new moms through their home visitor program.
Fifteen volunteers from AdventHealth University helped with a workday where books were hauled, sorted, stamped and stickered. They built bookshelves and anchored them to the wall.
Volunteers anchored the bookshelves so that children would be safe from toppling shelves.
